Who Can Comfort Me?

When I look upon the world in which I live,
And see how utterly dissimilar it is to the Kingdom of Heaven—
Who can console me?

When I walk completely alone,
Without family or a single friend,
And never have anyone to turn to—
Who will be with me?

When I sit and weep,
And my heart is engulfed in perfect sadness—
Who can comfort me?

He who can comfort me loves me and cares for me, and is my friend. Let all honor and glory be to Him, now and ever, and unto the ages. Amen.
